* Unfortunately we cannot accommodate arrivals prior to the start of the conference. We can recommend properties in Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia for those wishing to arrive early to deal with jet lag. Please watch for these recommendations on the Travel Page.

Accommodation Details

There are a limited number of adjoining rooms at the conference site.  We will do our best to reserve them for families with small children and babies.

There is also a limited supply of cribs, high chairs, and rollaway beds. Rollaway beds will also be reserved for children sharing a room with their parents.

Water Safety

Please note that there are many open water sources on and around the conference site.  This includes swimming pools, lakes, ponds and even a beach.  Keep in mind that we will not be in the United States, and there are no gates separating these water areas from the rooms and dining areas.

CRM plans to bring volunteers to serve as Lifeguards in one of the large pool areas, which will be designated as the family pool.  This in no way replaces close parental supervision. It is the sole responsibility of parents to safeguard their children from the water hazards, and we ask that minors not use the water features without their parents present.

Staying after conference

If you would like to stay on and enjoy the Pelangi beach property after the conference ends, below are some important details to understand.

• The discounted rate is RM 407 per night, per room (approximately $115.33 US as of Sept 1, 2009). This rate includes breakfast for two.

• To make reservations, contact the property directly at the Kuala Lumpur Sales Office by calling (603) 2148 9823 or faxing (603) 2141 7832. You can also email the sales manager, Loh Kok Jin, at lohkokjin@meritus-hotels.com. Identify yourself as a member of the CRM conference in order to receive the discounted rate.

• CRM will not be involved in the billing process for these extra stays.  You will pay the property directly upon check out.
